Football Challenge 2025

Our colleagues recently decided to swap keyboards for futsal shoes and join the 15th annual Information & Communication Technology Football Challenge, which brings together IT companies from across Slovakia. While many of us might be more fluent in C++ than fancy footwork, they gave it their all on the court — playing with the kind of passion you'd expect during the most critical code deployment in company history.

They showed up in style, wearing custom IBL jerseys with a slogan combining coding and goals — a fun nod to their tech roots that definitely caught attention. From the first whistle to the final buzzer, they brought energy, good vibes, and strong team spirit. It wasn’t just about playing football — it was about showing how strong collaboration can be, whether it’s on a pitch or in a project sprint.

And the result? Our colleagues held their own in the tough competition and proudly secured a solid 11th place! While we didn’t bring home a trophy, we walked away with unforgettable moments, great memories, and a renewed sense of team pride. The tournament proved that IT folks have not only sharp minds but also strong team spirit, fair play in their hearts, and a drive to push boundaries — whether it’s fixing a bug or breaking through the opponent’s defence.

We’re already looking forward to next year — because, really, what’s better than a mix of tech, football, and a great team?
